Health Insurance
Health, dental, and vision insurance are available to trainees and their families from the first recognized day of training.
Moonlighting
Moonlighting activities, whether internal or external, are inconsistent with sufficient time for rest and restoration to promote the fellow’s education experience and safe patient care. Fellow education is a full-time endeavor that requires 100% commitment to the training program, and hence Moonlighting by trainees in accredited and non-accredited programs of the Washington University Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery are not permitted at any time.
